AMAZING 8.

Wow, it's been crazy 2 weeks. We've been touring around Finland with the Fitness Cover Girl Finalists 2013 Show and despite thousands of kilometers of travelling it's been a lot of fun. The team spirit between 8 of us is amazing and we're all super excited about tomorrows grande finale on Viking XPRS!

I'm now a proud member of the Beyond Belief fitness team (www.teambeyondbelief.fi) leaded by the last year's Bikini Fitness Finnish Champion Ships silver medalist Titi Rantanen. She's a guru when it comes to fitness and nutrition. It's been pretty severe 2 weeks too, since I've hit the gym almost every day and my diet is next to nothing on carbs. But it has payed off and I'm pretty happy with the results altho last week I caught the flu and that naturally effected on my training.

Of course there has been some pampering along the way. I got my dazzling golden evening dress for the evening dress round from Anu at SoStylish (www.sostylish.fi) as well as my lashes were done there by Mira. Big thanks for the bronze tan to Linda at SunStudio (www.sunstudio.fi), for french manicure Pinky's Nails (www.pinkysnails.fi) and of course for support, fab hair and white smile to my dear friend Kookie of Fashion As Addiction fash blog (fashionasaddiction.blogspot.fi) <3

Tomorrow it's time to shine, wish me luck!

OPPORTUNITY PRESENTS ITSELF.

The snow is melting, finally. Spring is here. It's time for new things and also bringing some old things back to life - like my blog. Well, most of you follow me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram - but I thought I'd start updating the blog again. Some of you guys have been asking what do I eat or how do I work out to keep myself fit and so for those of you I have good news!

Sports have always been a big part of my life. From kids' ballet at the age of three to these days. At the age of 15 I won Finland Champion Ships bronze medal with my sports aerobics team. And for the past ten years I've travelled all over Finland as a professional dancer.

Healthy life style has always been my way of living since I need to keep myself in good shape around the year to be able to entertain audiences with smile on my face. So when I was asked to take part in the first ever Fitness Cover Girl (FCG) competition hosted by the model agency Facemaker and Sport Life Nutritions, I didn't hesitate.

I've learned over these years in show business that one should always go for things, at least to gain new friends and exciting experiences. FCG semifinals were held on a cruise ship called Viking XPRS last Saturday and I got through to the finals among 7 other beautiful fitness ladies. The finals are on Saturday 27th of April on the very same cruise ship Viking XPRS. BOOK NOW -> www.vikingline.fi

Now is your chance to follow my journey to the FCG finals. Today we had a photoshoot for Leijonat.com - site of the IIHF World Champion Ships. Since ice hockey has always been close to my heart I enjoyed the interview part especially.

CO.STU&ME | THE FASHION MECCA OF SHOW COSTUMES.

Fashion has been my passion my whole life - that of course you all knew already. But those of you who have been paying attention may've also noticed that so has dance. I've been a professional dancer for almost 10 years now. Always been the one in the group to pick out the show costumes and loving it. Throughout the years I've learned what works on stage and makes the crowd cheer. Now I've got some mind blowing news for you who have been wondering what's going on in my life since I haven't been blogging for a long long time. I'm starting my own business: Co.Stu&Me | the fashion mecca of show costumes.

The first to specialize in show costumes in Finland ever. So far Finnish dancers and dance groups have been forced to order costumes for their shows abroad without trying the items on or subscribe to a sewer what costs a fortune. For the first time ever, dancers will be able to get it all under one roof: dancesneakers, undergarment, pole dance shorts, ball room heels, thigh high leather boot covers, fishnet thights, huge collection of show costumes and theatrical cosmetics. Adding to that we have our own sewer who makes customers dreams come true in no time and for pretty affortable price too.

As we are the new boutique that soon everyone will be buzzing about, we have some special offers the first week we'll be open starting 5th of Nov. I'm so excited and can't wait to open the boutique! Who would've thought... My dream is coming true. AND IT FEELS GREAT!

I LOVE YOU SO HERMÈS.

The Sun is shining so intensively that you can almost here the snow melting. I love these first days of spring that make starlings sing, nature revive and people smile updating their facebook status with such as "today is a magnificent day" / "can't stop smiling" / "love you all". After the long, gloomy, crud fraught and dismal winter you can finally sense the inspiring athmosphere of a new beginning filling the air.

It's time for me to wake my blog up from its deep winter sleep and could not find a better way to do that than embrace this bliss. Let me introduce to you all my new love of my life, her royal majesty, classic black leather Hermès Birkin. At least for me it has been The It Bag as long as I remember and now I've finally had my dream come true and own one.

Although it was a tough choice between THE orange or black, but as you know me, couldn't resist the enticement of the black leather once again. And as the icing on the cake with its golden details the Hermès matches perfectly with my Dorothy Perkins that I got from London in Feb. Or I should probably say it the other way around... Haha.

LONDINIUM.

I visited one of my favorite cities in the whole world again: London. Although it was still freezing cold, the city gave glimpses of the upcoming spring. The Sun was shining, no clouds anywhere to be seen. I swear who ever came up with the phrase that it always rains in London had never been to Finland.

What made my visit close to perfect was my stay at the Marriott Grosvenor Square hotel. This luxury hotel next to the Hyde Park is something I recommend to every one. Their breakfast muffins, fresh fruits, chocolate croissants, special coffees and of course full english breakfast served in a cozy lounge with a view to Hyde Park was the perfect way to start a day.

Oh Oxford Street, that heaven-like place for some serious shopping. Breath-taking variation of stores selling the latest fashion blew my mind once again. Couldn't stay away from Miss Selfridges this time either and bought a little black dress that I wore the very same night to the spectacular musical at Victoria Theatre: Wicked. On the last day of my four-day-visit I found these black Dorothy Perkins with golden details, aren't they just gorgeous?

FINNISH CATWALK AUTUMN/WINTER '12

As some of you have noticed I've had a little creative break from blogging for awhile, but now was inpired by an email that I received from Stella Harasek. First fashion event of the year, couldn't be more excited when got invited to Finnish Catwalk Autumn/Winter '12 VIP Night. The event was held 27th of Feb at the Old Student House "Vanha" and there were 30 Finnish designers' delicious work to be seen on the catwalk from Delffi to Tyra Therman. Finnish fashion bloggers, trendsetters, opinion leaders and designers all gathered up to witness Finnish fashion bandwagons for next winter. To put it in a nutshell, next winter is going to be a sweet mix of thick knits, foxtails, felt, layers, bright reds, yellows and blues. Wonderful Ahlskog Leather was selected as the Finnish Fashion Achievement of the year. Congrats!

It's been snowing a lot in Finland lately. Love it how the snow veil covered streets and buildings shimmer in the shades of pink and orange every morning when the Sun rises. Priceless. I'll fly to London tomorrow to visit my darling Heini, so got to start packing. I bet I'm gonna experience at least one deja vu there - shopping so intensively that will be forced to buy a new suitcase once again to get the outcome to Finland. Haha. Have a great week everone, while my little London getaway keep yourselves updated by following me on Twitter...

xoxo, Stu
